In 2020, two brothers Harrison and Ross Lockhart purchased a food truck trailer with plans of turning it into a mobile crab house. Growing up in Maryland, they quickly learned the amount of pride that Maryland has for the seafood industry. Whether it’s a corporate crab feast or family reunion, there is nothing more enjoyable than sitting around the table with friends and family to enjoy the finest Maryland crabs. Since they were teenagers, they have been involved in Maryland’s seafood industry focusing on live and steamed blue crabs.

With over 15 years combined experience they felt it was time to start their own business and opened Cruising Crab. Specializing in steamed Maryland blue crabs, shrimp, oysters, and Alaskan crab legs. We pride ourselves on offering the best customer service while serving the freshest seafood Maryland has to offer.

Cruising Crab is committed to sourcing our seafood in ways to reduce impact to our oceans while maintaining high standards for quality and price. Crabs are delivered daily from local Chesapeake bay commercial crabbers, all crabs are hand sorted and steamed fresh to order.
